The company GEOPLAN DOO Skopje is founded on 30.01.1992. It has carried out its first business activities as sales representative of the company GEOTREJD from Sofia, mediating in the procedures for distribution of products (surveying instruments and equipment) of the eminent company SOKKIA from Japan. Starting from 19.05.2003, the company GEOPLAN has been general distributor of the products of SOKKIA on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia. 

In the beginning of 1994, the company GEOPLAN has expanded its activities in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and GIS software, by setting up numerous applicative GIS solutions for the social and business needs of our country. 

Since mid 2001, this company has begun to advertise, present and offer restitution instruments and digital photogrametry software to the prestigious company operating in the field of photogrametry -SISCAM from Florence, Italy. 

Due to market interests for fast and economic updating of geodesy basis (cadastre plans and topographic maps), in the recent years, GEOPLAN has established close business relations with the company INTA SRACETURK from Ankara, Turkey, which is a general distributor of the products of satellite IKONOS for the territory of Asia and South-East Europe. In close cooperation with this company, GEOPLAN distributes color satellite images with different resolution and wide spectrum of horizontal and vertical location preciseness. 

Taking into consideration the favorable conditions for involving private companies and initiatives for development of geodesy and cadastre activity, during this year GEOPLAN extend its activities in the field of land survey and preparation of original digital plans and maps in different ratio and for various beneficiaries, by means of classical geodetic methods (surveying with total stations and global positioning systems), as well as graphic methods (restitution by autographs and digital photogrametry).
